This project focused on creating a welcome kit for a new employee, in this case a barista. I decided to create a kit based on my own concept for a cafe, ‘Phant. The name is a mix between the words, elephant, phantom, fantastic. In this ‘Phant-asy’ coffee shop, I chose bold colors and an emphatic illustrations that blend vintage sport posters with a post-punk typographic style. I was heavily inspired by zines and their indie attitudes. The project includes a welcome booklet, an employee shirt, and a personal espresso glass.
