Photoshoot Ad Series
For my Project Management course, we were assigned a project that brought to life an advertising concept for a product in a magazine. I chose Aguilar’s Tone Hammer 350, a bass amp head, because of my intimate relationship with music. Inspired by their recognizable logo, I utilized their colors and dynamic aesthetic as a focal point of my photography and design. To execute this project, I capture original images of the product in my room, using make-shift lighting tools, and photo-editing platforms. I chose to lean into a more vintage visual appeal; the yellow and black provide a contrasting dynamic that emphasizes the product and logo. As a user of this product, I appreciate the quality of this amp despite its size. The tagline, “Big Sound, No Bulk”, was quick, catchy, and accentuates the high-quality of the product itself.
