Blue County Pistol
EP Rollout
In 2023, Blue County Pistol, an alt-country band based in Madison, Wisconsin, released their first EP, “Under Cold Country”. Before and after the release, I designed numerous posters and merchandise pieces using original photography, video, and illustration. I created social media posts for their platforms to advertise the EP. Further, I crafted tour merchandise, including stickers, t-shirts, booklets and inserts for their CDs and vinyl's, and tour posters. My work was then produced and sold at shows around the country. As the bass player myself, my artistic vision came alongside the music itself—its alternative nature, contemporary folk attitudes. However, my inspiration is also rooted in the lineage of alt/punk aesthetics in which I blend with contemporary country visuals. The EP’s artwork, painted by Madeline Rasmussen, functioned as a great reference point for my creative clarity.
